Vichy Micellar Cleansing Solution and La Roche-Posay Toleriane Fluide

Bonjour mes bloggers de beauté!
Today I'm reviewing thermal water products from 2 French skincare brands: Vichy and La Roché-Posay. I have no idea whether the water differs between the 2...I'm assuming they have their own unique 'springs' but whether there's a PH difference or any other scientific-y thing I couldn't say.

Vichy Micellar: First off, I love this. Love love love. It's such a simple yet effective product. It's gentle and lightly scented, containing 'Micelle' technology which Wikipedia tells me is "an aggregate of surfactant molecules dispersed in a liquid colloid". Errr...right. What I know is that it's very easy to use - just a little squirt on a cotton pad and my face is stripped of oilyness but not of its natural oils. I would say it's more suited to combination/oily skin just because it may become drying on other skins, though it would work fine with any sort of sensitivity. This retails for £11/$16 and can be purchased from major chemists such as Boots etc but I got mine from Escentual (which has free delivery until Sept 25th). 10/10

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Fluide: what I would call a winter moisturiser. It claims to be non-oily but I find that during the Summer this was a bit too heavy for my oily face but when the months of the cold outside and (hopefully) warm inside it would be just the ticket. If used before a matte foundation, it would probably work out as a dewy finish - but surely you would buy a dewy foundation in the first place I guess. It's a pump application so very hygienic, and a little goes a long way. Again this features thermal water, and is fragrance free. This would mainly suit dry to normal skins, and retails for £13/$22. 7/10

I also received this fabulously sized travel La Roche-Posay kit featuring the Toleraine moisturiser and a cleansing milk/toner.

*These products were received as a PR sample which in no way affects my opinion. I was not paid in any way for this post.
